The Islamic University (IU) has divided its admission test for the year 2020-21 into four units, each consisting of two or more faculties. The IU A unit admission test will be held for the departments under the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies. The IU B unit admission test will be held for the departments under the Faculties of Fine Arts, Social Science, and Law & Shariah. The IU C unit admission test will be held for the departments under the Faculty of Business Administration, while the IU D unit admission test will cover the departments under the Faculties of Science, Biological Science, and Engineering and Technology. IU Admission Circular 2025
Here is the latest admission circular for Islamic University. The online application process will begin on [start date] 2025 and will end on [end date] 2025. Students who have attended the GST A unit admission exam will be eligible to apply for all units. However, students who have attended only the B and C unit exams will be eligible to apply only for the B and C units.
Requirement Of IU Admission
Only students who have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2020 or 2019, and the Secondary or equivalent examination in 2015 or later, are eligible to apply for the admission test at Islamic University for the 2020-21 session.

Admission Exam and Number System:
The total number of seats for the admission test is 120, which is divided into three sections:
(A) GPA Score – 40 Marks:
The GPA scores from the HSC (or equivalent) and SSC (or equivalent) will be added together and then multiplied by 4. This will give the total GPA score for this section. The formula is:
(HSC GPA + SSC GPA) x 4 = 40 marks.
(B) MCQ – 60 Marks:
There will be 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The answers to these questions should be filled in an OMR sheet. For each wrong answer, 25% of the marks will be deducted as punishment.
(C) Written – 20 Marks:
This section will consist of a written answer to a 20-mark question. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in this section.
